Paddle Cup: Founders vs. Funds is an invite only padel tournament in Singapore, running the morning of October 4, 2026, ahead of TOKEN2049 week. Instead of another pitch deck or another VC dinner, we're pairing one founder with one fund partner on every team, so the real conversation happens on court.
Never played padel before? That's fine. It's one of the easiest racquet sports to pick up, most people are rallying comfortably within a few minutes, and every player has a partner for the whole tournament. This isn't about who's the better athlete; it's about who you end up paired with.
The format runs from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM: check in and warm up, an open bracket and a VIP bracket running in parallel across four courts, quarterfinals into semifinals into finals, an awards ceremony court side, and a closing brunch to wrap the morning with the people you just played against.
The room is capped around 80 people: Web3 founders with working products, venture capitalists and fund partners deploying from pre-seed to Series A, family offices and angel investors, protocol and infrastructure teams, and a small group of media and KOLs covering the day. Registrations are reviewed to keep the room filled with real decision-makers and serious builders.
